Some recent publicity

December 29, 2012 There has been so much publicity about the 20th Anniversary Edition of my lowcountry book that I have failed to keep the blog updated with the information. Yesterday my interview on South Carolina’s educational radio program, Walter Edgar’s Journal, aired, and it will air again tomorrow at 4pm EST on their member stations, but you can listen to the hour-long conversation anytime here.

Here’s a review of the book that ran in CHoW Line, the publication of the Culinary Historians of Washington (DC):

The delightful Andrea Weigl, with her one-year-old daughter, interviewed me in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, then spoke with Fran McCullough, the original editor of the book, before writing this article, which ran on Christmas Day in the Raleigh News & Observer.

And then there’s this interesting piece about hoppin’ john by Ron Edwards on his provocative site, US Slave.
